Promoting International Cooperation and
Cultural Exchange |
- Koryu Salon (cultural exchange salon), various events are
planned and hosted to introduce either Japanese culture or other
cultures from around the world
- Japanese language speech contest
- In August, the CCIA organizes a group of Japanese and
foreign citizens to dance at the Chiba Oyakosandai summer
festival
- Language lessons are offered to Japanese language volunteers
(beginner & intermediate English, beginner Chinese, beginner
Korean, and children's English classes)
- Offer seminars that focus on internationalization
- Youth exchange programs with sister cities are planned each
year. Students come and go on exchange to North Vancouver
(Canada), Houston (USA), and Montreux (Switzerland)
- Tour of Montreux with citizens of Chiba City
- The planning and presentation of shows by the Tianjin
performance troop

- Volunteer training

- Promotion of a Japanese language teacher network

- Provide foreign exchange students with recycled bicycles
